CLEARANCE REQUIRED

We are looking for an experienced Civils Site Manager to oversee the civils and groundworks package on a high-security prison project in Lancaster. This is a long-term contract opportunity (18 months), requiring a highly organised and proactive professional with a strong background in civils and groundworks.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to obtain security clearance (or already cleared).
• SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS Gold/Black Card – Essential.
• Strong background in civils, groundworks, and infrastructure projects.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage high-pressure environments and meet strict deadlines.

• Lead and manage the civils and groundworks package, including earthworks, drainage, foundations, and infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and security protocols within a high-security environment.
• Supervise subcontractors and site teams, ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and ensure quality control throughout the project.
• Liaise with clients, engineers, and senior management to report on progress and resolve any site challenges.
