CLADDING DRAFTING TECHNICIAN

Location: Head Office – 6675 Rexwood Rd, Mississauga, ON L4V 1V1
Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time | Onsite
Anticipated Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Salary: $60,000-75,000 (Based on experience)
Pay Schedule: Paid bi-weekly, every second Friday
Reports To: Senior Drafting Technician

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Cladding Drafting Technician to join our dynamic team and contribute to the production of high-quality shop and fabrication drawings. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about precision in design and construction.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and detailed shop drawings for a variety of panel systems
  • Develop fabrication models based on point cloud data (3D laser scanning) to ensure precision in production
  • Generate a comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM) for various components for production
  • Collaborate closely with other teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Utilize Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD 2D and 3D modelling, and Recap PRO to create precise technical drawings and BIM models that align with project requirements. Inventor (an asset)
  • Work closely with the drafting team to meet project deadlines and maintain efficiency
  • Ensure technical accuracy, clarity, and efficiency in all drawings
  • Identify and correct any discrepancies or errors in design and documentation
