JOB DESCRIPTION

From advocating for seat belts, air bags and graduated driving laws, to being an industry leader in pricing sophistication, telematics, and, more recently, device and identity protection.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Review insurance policy and coverages
  • Investigate automobile claims (i.e.: impaired, unlisted operator or non-drivable) and determine coverage and liability
  • Settle claims in accordance with organization’s policies and practices.
  • Required to collaborate with the customer, service suppliers (i.e. towing, repair shops), other insurance companies and law enforcement

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • FCNB claims adjusting license is required
  • Bilingualism in French and English is preferred
  • Minimum high school education or equivalent
  • 1 - 3 years handling automobile claims is considered an asset
  • 1 - 3 years of customer service experience
  • Knowledge in understanding and interpreting policies
  • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
  • Proficient keyboard skills and computer literacy
