REQUIRED / DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS:

Requirements:

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel including v-look ups
  • Basic Accounting knowledge of the reconciliation process.
  • Experience with high volume data and uploading data to systems.
  • Willingness to learn new things and take on new duties.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred:

  • Experience in an office or insurance setting preferred.

Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE ON THE EXPEDITION:

This position assists the accounting and claims department with reviewing and printing claims checks and vouchers. Generating and reconciling reports for approval, scanning of documents and other general clerical duties. This position is based in our Pembroke Pines, FL location and reports to the Supervisor, Claims.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reconcile check & voucher registers.
  • Print claims checks and vouchers to stock.
  • Communicate with travel suppliers to request funding.
  • Scan documents.
  • Process Echecks/Digital Payments.
  • Mail out claims checks and vouchers.
  • Identify, communicate, and solve issues with outside departments.
  • Perform ad hoc projects as assigned.
