The Adjuster Level I, Claims, is an entry-level adjusting role supporting both Auto Physical Damage and Accident Benefits claims. The role is designed to build technical expertise while providing critical operational support across the Claims Department. The Adjuster Level I will manage low-complexity claims independently and assist on more complex claims under supervision. This includes handling minor auto losses, MIG-level AB claims, and departmental administrative functions as directed by the Senior Claims Assistant. The position also includes a small portion of stretch files (5-10%) to help the adjuster grow into more advanced roles.
What you’ll do…

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-2 years of insurance experience preferred; co-op or internship experience will be considered.
  • Post-secondary education in Insurance, Business, or a related field; CIP coursework in progress is an asset.

TECHNICAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Basic understanding of auto damage, injury claim fundamentals, and policy interpretation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management systems.
