An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and commercially minded Claims Advisor to join Suncorp's Personal Injury Claims team. In this role, you'll manage a portfolio of complex personal injury claims, including litigated and pre-proceedings matters, while working closely with solicitors, medical professionals, rehabilitation providers, and internal specialists. You'll play a key role in driving claim strategy, assessing liability and quantum, managing risk, and delivering timely, commercially sound outcomes. This is an opportunity to apply your legal, insurance, or personal injury expertise in a collaborative environment where you'll be empowered to make decisions, influence outcomes, and contribute to market-leading claims management. What you'll be doing As a Claims Advisor, you will: * Manage a portfolio of personal injury claims from lodgement through to resolution. * Assess information and make informed decisions in line with legislative and business requirements. * Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including legal representatives and service providers. * Negotiate outcomes and develop strategies to progress claims efficiently. * Collaborate with internal teams to achieve positive customer and business outcomes. * Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures. What you'll bring * Experience in personal injury claims, insurance, legal services, workers compensation, or a case management. * Strong analytical and decision-making skills. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. * Confidence managing negotiations and complex matters. * Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. * A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. * The ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of your own portfolio.
