REQUIREMENTS

  • Possess relevant work experience or bachelor’s .
  • Able to translate concepts to client requirements that drive technological and process solutions to meet client needs.
  • Possess 2 years of experience in client management and project management both onsite and virtual.
  • Demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, management, coaching and organizational skills.
  • Possess Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Able to facilitate effective conversations with internal and external clients.
  • Able to persuade, influence, and negotiate (must have a track record of influencing indirect parties to accomplish client objectives).
  • Possess 1 or more years coaching experience and leveraging work through others.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Client Manager is the main point of contact for Alight clients with the claims and appeals service. The Client Manager is also responsible for ongoing delivery and ad hoc projects for their clients. They lead services, provide consulting, and manage requirements to ensure client satisfaction. This role demands dedicated focus on exceptional service delivery and nurturing client relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serving as the main point of contact for both internal and external clients and partners. Responsibilities include implementation and ongoing delivery of claims and appeals services. Effective communication and understanding of claims and appeals and related processes are essential.
  • Developing a solid understanding of our technology solutions to reduce client and customer effort. Supports the implementation of system enhancements and updates.
  • Assisting with the testing and validation of platform functionality for new and transitioning clients.
  • Working seamlessly with a global team of colleagues across administration and customer care.
  • Acting as the subject matter expert for all service specific and common client requirements. Accountable for requirement changes and documentation.
  • Leading internal and external meetings for ongoing delivery and projects, including stewardship reports.
  • Managing the delivery of client reporting including non-standard client reporting needs, financial, and operational reports.
  • Tracking proper investigation through a variety of information sources to draw conclusions. Able to identify when to escalate to leadership.
  • Reviewing escalated or highly sensitive cases as needed. Supports the claim processing review team by providing feedback on colleagues’ research and determination notices.
