Claims Assessor - Salary circa £35,000
Are you someone that is highly motivated with experience in assessing protection claims? If so, we have a perfect opportunity for you.
You’ll have a good understanding of compliance with relevant policies, external regulation and claims standards, with exceptional care and emotional intelligence to ensure customer support and any vulnerability needs are looked after.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • A broad knowledge of life related product for example, Life insurance, critical illness, income protection and terminal illness. Knowledge of legal aspects relevant to claims, for example, Probate and CIDRA rules.
  • Ability to look after the claims from start to end, including signing out claims independently and working autonomously
  • Experience in dealing with reinsurers and medical officers, along with experience in dealing with misrepresentation as set out in the ABI guidelines.
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills, with a desire to deliver quality service at the highest level and commitment to individual and team performance
  • Ability to prioritise work effectively and anticipate problems. Along with an excellent eye for detail and the confidence to make decisions on your own.

  • Starting salary circa £ 35,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
