If you’re keen to learn, grow, and make a difference, this could be the perfect role for you.We have multiple positions available across Group Claims that will be permanent, full-time, based in our Sydney office, with flexibility to work from home 2 days per week. Comprehensive training will be provided to set you up for success!The start date for these positions will be Thursday 8th January 2026.In this role you will:Support Claims Consultants with administrative tasks on claims assessmentsFollow up on ongoing claim requirements, including medical reports, employer info, and financial documentsSummarise and manage claims documentationDraft letters to customers and manage communications on timeAssist with claim closures, data corrections, and general workflow management in the claims systemHandle inbound/outbound calls and support stakeholders including advisers, trustees, and fund administratorsContribute to process improvements and participate in team or company projectsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of life insurance guidelines, TAL processes, and policiesQualificationsA keen interest in life insurance and claims managementSomeone who is degree qualified or working towards the end of their studies - ideally in Finance, Legal, Allied Health, TeachingStrong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentationExcellent communication and customer service skills with empathy and professionalismAbility to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to learn, develop, and grow within the TAL Claims teamPrevious experience in financial services or a similar administrative role is a bonus, but not essentialAt TAL, we value a positive, proactive, and collaborative mindset.
