We conduct Labour Market Research to provide insights for our partners into workforce availability. We deliver employer supports and facilitate career placement opportunities to help employers reduce the risk of hiring and allow biotechnology workers access to unique opportunities in their field. We provide job search and candidate search tools to connect employers with talent, and we provide professional development opportunities for workers to develop the skills they need to support Canada’s bio-economy. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

  • Bilingualism
  • Diploma/ College certificate in a relevant discipline would be an asset. Some post- secondary education is required
  • CRM experience is a definite asset
  • Experience with Sage 50 is an asset
  • Experience with Sharepoint

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Claims Coordinator plays an essential role in supporting the efficient and accurate processing of employer supports for BioTalent Canada’s National Talent Strategy. This detail-oriented position is responsible for managing the weekly flow of financial claim submissions, ensuring data accuracy, maintaining organized project records, and upholding compliance with internal standards. Reporting to the Project Manager, Employer Supports, a key function of the role includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to track project expenditures, maintain client relationships, and contribute to business development efforts.

IN THIS ROLE YOU CAN EXPECT TO:

  • Accurately process 50- 90 financial wage subsidy claims weekly, according to internal processes
  • Assist with data input using Sage 50, MS Excel and Sharepoint
  • Maintain project tracking sheets and enter program details into the CRM database
  • Follow up on missing documentation making certain the process is completed on time
  • Monitor the alignment between the project wage subsidy budget and claims being processed
  • Monitor appropriate compliance to terms of projects
  • Provide recommendations to the Project Manager on project issues in an ongoing and timely fashion
  • Maintain positive customer relations and respond to minor problems and basic inquires
  • Redirect problems outside scope to appropriate individuals
  • Prioritize lead generation efforts alongside the regular requirements of the role
  • Perform other duties as requested and as needed in a dynamic work environment
