JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients while managing various clerical tasks related to medical documentation and billing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology, coding, and insurance verification processes, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of customer inquiries.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous call center experience in a healthcare or insurance setting is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices.
  • Knowledge of medical billing processes including ICD coding, CPT coding, state and federal regulations, and financial software applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone or written correspondence providing accurate information regarding services and procedures.
  • Assist with insurance verification processes, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Strong attention to detail and written and verbal communication skills
  • Maintain organized filing systems for medical records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and insureds regarding claims status and additional documentation thay may be required.
  • Utilize financial software to manage patient accounts and track payments.
  • Ensure that all medical documentation is accurate and up-to-date in accordance with company policies.
  • Work closely with team members to improve customer service processes and enhance overall client satisfaction.
