Key ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of Professional Indemnity claims from notification through to settlement, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolution.
Assist in handling Property, Travel and other claims when required.
Refer claims outside individual handling authority in accordance with referral requirements.
Investigate claims thoroughly, gathering all necessary information and evidence.
Assess coverage, policy response, legal liability and quantum.
Consider allegations of professional negligence, breach of duty and other circumstances relevant to PI claims.
Liaise with clients, solicitors, brokers, third parties and other service providers to ensure effective claims handling and appropriate outcomes.
