  • Good general education, including GCSE’s (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • High attention to detail.

Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity for to grow, expand and develop with a leading pet insurance provider as we develop our brands across the UK, offering insurance for dogs, cats, exotics, horses and pet businesses.

A varied role focusing on claim administration, ensuring that service and compliance standards are met and handling claim related customer communications.

  • Responsible for checking, collating and forwarding information needed for claims assessment and underwriting referrals.
  • Identify trends and areas for improvement with a solution-based attitude.
  • Responsible for approving claims and communicating claim outcomes to customers.
  • Communicating claim decline decisions with customers.
  • Produce high quality documentation and maintain records on our systems.
  • Clear and efficient communication with third parties to gather information relevant to claims.
  • Ensuring team SLA’s and KPI’s are met.
  • Answer and resolve customer queries.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction is exceeded and company and regulatory SLA’s are met.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the company products.
  • Proactive in improving operational claim processes.
  • Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
  • Support other departments, as required.
  • Undertake regular learning and development in line with company and FCA requirements.
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects for the management team.
