At Fire & Flood, we specialise in restoring homes and businesses following fire, water, and impact damage. We’re looking for a Claims Handler to join our growing Bristol team—someone who can combine empathy and organisation to guide our customers through the repair journey from start to finish.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Claims Handler, you’ll take ownership of property repair jobs—coordinating between clients, contractors, and colleagues to make sure works progress smoothly and professionally. You’ll be the main point of contact for clients, ensuring they feel informed and supported throughout.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Manage property repair jobs from instruction to completion (e.g. water leaks, fire, storm damage)
• Schedule inspections and works with contractors
• Keep clients updated with clear and timely communication
• Record all job activity using internal systems
• Approve or escalate works within authority levels
• Assist with subcontractor onboarding and compliance
• Support day-to-day office coordination and H&S admin
