CLAIMS & LITIGATION OFFICER

Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: Up to £30,000 | Hours: Full-time
Are you a legal professional with a passion for property law and litigation? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading property management firm and play a key role in supporting risk and compliance across a diverse real estate portfolio.
The organisation manages a wide range of properties – from commercial offices and shopping centres to large-scale residential developments – through one of the UK’s largest block management operations.
They are now looking for a Claims & Litigation Officer to join their in-house Professional Services Division – a small, specialist legal team that supports the wider business on claims, complaints, and compliance matters.

• Investigating and managing a range of claims including Professional Indemnity, Public Liability, and County Court claims
• Drafting responses, letters, and legal defences under the guidance of the Specialist Caseworker
• Conducting legal research and preparing clear, concise reports
• Supporting internal training on relevant legal risks and claims processes
• Advising on leasehold property law and contributing to internal guidance materials
• Maintaining accurate case files using the Case Management System
• Assisting senior team members and supporting the department’s day-to-day operations
