from now on

We are FIEGE. A family-owned company that has been driving innovative business models in logistics, digital, real estate, and ventures for over 150 years. As an innovation leader in the industry, FIEGE employs more than 22,000 people at around 136 locations in 14 countries.

Our corporate culture and the FIEGE success spirit make us unique and unite all our colleagues. We live by family values and a respectful working environment. The FIEGE Compass, with its principles for appreciative collaboration and good leadership, forms the common foundation for this. In doing so, we lay the groundwork for a strong community today, tomorrow, and for future generations.

We are looking for support as a Claims Management Specialist (m/f/d) for our Finance, Treasury & Insurance business unit in the Claims Management team at the Greven location as soon as possible.

What you do

  • You will independently handle traffic liability and business liability claims in central claims management.
  • You carefully record and document claims in the system (e.g. ClaimX) and oversee their processing.
  • You examine claims for damages according to legal and contractual regulations and assess the basis of liability.
  • You enforce claims for damages against third parties and accompany necessary coordination processes.
  • You communicate with customers, contractors, insurers, lawyers and other stakeholders — in writing and orally.
  • You will contribute to the further development of processes and solutions in claims management and bring your own ideas to the table.

What you bring

You have completed commercial training — ideally in the field of freight forwarding and logistics.

You bring knowledge of national and international liability regulations (e.g. ADSp, HGB, CMR) as well as an understanding of logistical processes.

You work in a structured, reliable and independent manner and have a good understanding of things.

You have a confident demeanor, communicate effectively, and enjoy working in a team.

You are proficient in using MS Office; English skills are an advantage.

What else matters to us

  • We value qualifications above all else – regardless of age, gender, disability, sexual orientation/identity, or social, ethnic, and religious background. We welcome applications from people with diverse backgrounds.
