Join our Niche Pet Claims team at RACQ, where your empathy and dedication can make a real difference in the lives of pet owners. As a Claims Management Officer, you will be at the forefront of helping our members navigate the claims process, providing them with the support and assurance they need during challenging times.

Working in a fast-paced environment, every day will be different, you will enjoy continuous learning, building rapport and collaborating in this positive and supportive team.

  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with rotational rosters between 7am-7:00pm Monday to Friday.
  • To ensure we set you up for success and provide you with all the support you need, you will begin with on-site training at our Eight Mile Plains office. After the initial training period, you will transition to a hybrid work-from-home arrangement.

To provide responsive and proactive claims management services for our members and third parties whilst managing timely efficient and effective claims management with our Member always at the forefront of what we do.

  • Assist our members with empathy and kindness, providing support and advice.
  • Manage claims end-to-end, handling calls professionally and making accurate decisions.
  • Discuss and negotiate settlement options clearly and honestly with stakeholders.
  • Apply Product Disclosure Statements and process documentation to ensure transparency, consistency, and compliance.
  • Participate in coaching and training to build your and your team’s capabilities
