In this role, you’ll manage fast‑track property damage claims, delivering high‑quality service at every touchpoint. You’ll bring accuracy, empathy and sound judgement to each claim while supporting positive outcomes for our customers and stakeholders. Your new role In this role, you’ll manage end‑to‑end claims across Casualty classes within the fast‑track Property Damage portfolio, including: Managing claims from lodgement to resolution with accuracy and care. Assessing policy coverage and escalating complex matters where required. Setting reserves and authorising payments in line with your delegated authority. Proactively driving claim progression to achieve timely, cost‑effective outcomes. Building strong working relationships with insured customers, brokers, investigators, solicitors and other stakeholders. Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, internal guidelines and privacy standards. Responding to inquiries professionally and efficiently. About you Ability to interpret and apply policy wordings confidently across varied claim scenarios. Strong analytical and decision‑making skills, with the ability to review technical reports and form sound conclusions. Skilled in building relationships with external providers including adjusters, investigators and legal representatives. Knowledge of the General Insurance Code of Practice. Experience with the Victorian Plumbers Insurance Scheme (advantageous). Experience managing property damage and/or product liability claims (advantageous).
