Description Tanner Clinic has an immediate opening for a full-time Claims Processing Rep located at our Kaysville Business Office. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Essential Job Responsibilities: Enter patient payments into database Ensure accuracy of data Communicate fee schedule discrepancies to Business Office Director Maintain strict personal, customer, and company confidentiality. Other duties as assigned Requirements Education: High School diploma or GED required Experience: Data entry experience preferred Other Requirements: Basic computer knowledge 10-key accuracy by touch General working knowledge of medical billing and processing is preferred Knowledge understanding of basic medical terminology is helpful Performance Requirements: Knowledge: Knowledge of medical billing and processing Knowledge of coding and clinic operating policies Knowledge of basic medical terminology Skills: Proficient skills in computer programs Abilities: Ability to understand and interpret policies and regulations Ability to examine documents for accuracy and completeness Ability to communicate effectively and work with others Equipment Operated: Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc. Work Environment: Position is in a well-lighted office environment. Mental/Physical Requirements: Involves sitting approximately 90 percent of the day, walking or standing the remainder.
