Every day, our teams are making trade happen. Join us! Job Description We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Claims & Recoveries Specialist to join our Trade Credit Insurance operations team. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end claims process, ensuring timely and accurate claim assessments, and pursuing recoveries from defaulting buyers. Key Responsibilities: Review and process claims submitted by policyholders in accordance with policy terms. Investigate claim validity, including analysis of buyer insolvency, payment default, and supporting documentation. Liaise with policyholders, brokers, legal teams, and external recovery agents. Initiate and manage recovery actions, including negotiations, litigation, and insolvency proceedings. Maintain accurate records of claims and recovery activities in internal systems. Provide insights and feedback to underwriting and risk teams based on claims trends. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field. 2–5 years of experience in claims handling, debt recovery, or credit insurance. Strong understanding of trade credit insurance policies and legal recovery processes. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines with precision. Preferred Skills: Experience with international recoveries and cross-border insolvency. Familiarity with legal frameworks in key export markets.
