Cowan Insurance Group is looking for a Claims Representative to join our Claims team! This role is reporting to the Manager, Claims. The successful candidate will be responsible for the reporting, management, and resolution of new and existing property, auto and liability claims for clients. You are knowledgeable in the insurance industry with policies, products and customer service.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the claims process, ensuring timely and professional communication.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone queue and online reports
• Review policy coverage, proficiently explain the claims process and set customer expectations
• Have regular contact with the customer and insurer to ensure specific milestones are met throughout the claim
• Advocate for customers when claims issues arise, challenging the insurer on coverage decisions when necessary
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the claims management system
• Collaborate with internal teams, including account managers and service members
