Description
We are looking for a Claims Senior Project Manager (m/f/d), based in our Alpharetta, GA, O’Fallon, MO or New York City, NY offices. Your Team Reporting to the Head of Claims Operations, you will drive operational excellence across the Claims organization. The Impact You Will Have The Claims Senior Project Manager is accountable for leading and managing projects from initiation through completion, including planning, structuring, and leading workstreams of high risk and complexity within a program. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing resources, and communicating with stakeholders to achieve project objectives. Some of your specific responsibilities could include: Project Management: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications. Facilitate regular meetings and provide updates to stakeholders on project status, changes, and issues. Governance, Global Standards & Methodology: Direct and lead initiatives supporting project delivery and ensure adherence to Portfolio Governance and control. Support governance of small IT projects using project management methodologies. Assess risks and issues that may threaten successful delivery, ensuring each project is delivered according to definition. Deploy project governance standards and drive quality assurance for project gate review. Manage sign-off and successful closure of projects. Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to secure necessary resources. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and records. Prepare and present regular status reports to stakeholders and management. Project Team Leadership: Build, manage, and motivate virtual project teams across multiple projects and countries. Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations. Implement quality control processes and conduct regular reviews. What You’ll Bring to the Role 3–5 years’ experience in the domain of practice of the role. 5–7 years’ project management experience. Master’s Degree in IT, Engineering, or similar. Professional training qualification preferred. General IT understanding and 1–3 years’ experience/exposure to IT topics. 3–5 years’ experience in the insurance industry domain. Principle designation a plus Skills in IT Architecture & Application Design. Strong project management skills, from individual task management to large complex projects. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong analytical skills. Experience in quality management. A solid understanding of data analysis, automation, and AI tools is required, with an awareness of ethical AI usage. Strong solution orientated Fluent English skills, any other languages advantageous The annualized base pay range for this role is $109,105 - $196,073. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package.
