POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Department of Healthcare and Family Services, Division of Medical Programs is seeking to hire a Claims Tech Support Analyst in the claims support area of the Bureau of Technical Services. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle complex tasks in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone with excellent communication abilities, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset to support our claims team efficiently. The Claims Tech Support Analyst will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and providing critical support to the department and specializing in institutional claims.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in medical claims, including utilizing Electronic Data Interchange Health Insurance Portability and Accountability transactions as well as maintaining accurate documentation. A strong understanding of running reports and testing is essential for success in this role. This role will also spend a lot of time assisting with the development and maintenance of Project Initialization Requests, Project Resolution Requests, and Change Requests for their section.
