Job Details Level: Experienced Job Location: Montebello Container - La Mirada, CA 90638 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $22.23 - $22.23 Hourly Travel Percentage: None Job Category: Manufacturing Major Responsibilities: Must know the following consumption requirements: 1. When a clamp driver picks a roll, they must scan it into the location assigned. All the mill tickets and paperwork must be turned into the front office (Rollstock Controller) Deliver rolls to corrugator in a timely manner. Notify supervisor when a certain roll is not available. Unload incoming trucks. Check manifest against rolls for accuracy or damage and sign the manifest. Must secure ramp and chock wheels before unloading vendor’s roll stock. Complete a butt roll report containing the size, diameter and grade. Assist with taking inventory Keep warehouse and yard organized according to grade and size. Make sure work area is clean and clear of safety hazards. Must do forklift checklist at the beginning of shift, report any problem immediately to supervisor for repair and turn checklist in at the end of shift. Check wet end summary for upcoming orders to feed the corrugator. Qualifications Must know how to read and use a tape measurer. Must be certified to drive a forklift. Must know how to fill the propane tank according to safety procedures. Must know how to check forklift fluid. Must know how to complete a butt roll report. Must know how to complete a consumption report High school diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities
The Clamp Truck Operator is responsible for scanning rolls into assigned locations, delivering rolls to the corrugator, and unloading incoming trucks. They must also maintain an organized warehouse and ensure safety protocols are followed.
