OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to operate various types of vehicles, including heavy equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) required.
  • Experience in freight transportation preferred, with a strong understanding of logistics operations.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and heavy equipment is a plus.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude for basic automotive repair tasks.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Operate commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations in a timely manner.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts and other heavy equipment as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any issues encountered during transport.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any changes that may arise.
  • Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle when needed to ensure optimal performance.
