Job Description Eddie Stobart are currently looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their growing team in Coventry. The role is based on a Co-op site and will involve store deliveries, RDC’s, Warehouses and can involve manual handling, drop and swaps and general trunking. Shifts available: Thursday -Monday 03:00am Thursday-Sunday 02:00am Thursday-Monday 12:00pm Tuesday-Saturday 17:00pm Saturday -Wednesday 21:00pm Tuesday-Saturday 22:00pm Wednesday-Sunday 23:00pm Friday-Tuesday 19:00pm Friday-Tuesday 23:00pm Salary: Mon-Fri Days - £15.00 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier payment) Mon-Fri Night Shift - £16.30 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier payment) Saturday and Sunday Day Shift - £18.00 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier payment) Saturday and Sunday Night Shift - £18.50 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier payment) Bank Holidays - £18.81 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier payment) Qualifications 6 months HGV Class 1 experience. You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho Card. No more than 6 points on your Licence with no DD/ DR Code convictions. Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation. Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.
