Eddie Stobart are currently looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their growing team in Sittingbourne. The role is based on a Morrisons site in Sittingbourne and will involve store deliveries, RDC’s, Warehouses and can involve manual handling, drop and swaps and general trunking. Job Description Available shifts and start times: Start times will be applicable to a two hour start window. 5 from 7 (including at least one weekend shift) - Days and Nights available. Salary: Starting salary from £42,304 per annum Based on average hours worked of 54 per week. Monday-Friday Days - £15.00 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier Payment). Monday-Friday Nights - £16.30 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier Payment). Saturday and Sunday Days - £18.00 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier Payments). Saturday and Sunday Nights - £18.50 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier Payments). Bank Holidays - £18.81 per hour (Including Meal allowance and Tier Payments). Qualifications You should have a minimum 6 months Class 1 experience. You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho Card. No more than 6 points on your Licence with no DD/ DR Code convictions Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements Excellent communication skills Additional Information As part of our drive to make Stobart a great place to work.
