JOB SUMMARY

Safely operate Class 1 type vehicles out of our Nisku, AB Location to service oil facilities, pipeline and industrial clients. E360S deals in all forms of environmental waste collections including collections of containers, vacuum truck services, field project management, liquid hauling, waste hauling and disposal, waste management, to site decommissions.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Highschool diploma or general education degree (GED) desired.
  • Possess a valid Class 1 License
  • 1 year of satisfactory driving experience of Class 1 vehicles preferred
  • Clean drivers abstract
  • H2S Alive and First Aid would be considered an asset
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing
  • Ability to regularly lift/move up to 75 lbs
  • This will be year round work in all weather conditions
Responsibilities
  • Experienced Class 1 professional drivers who take their safety, equipment and compliance seriously.
  • Experienced in the operations of tractor trailer walking floor, tanker, semi-vac and tandem trucks
  • Vacuum truck/Combo Vac experience preferred
  • A clean driver’s abstract with no suspensions
  • Must be proficient in completing all appropriate Pre/ Post trip inspections, TDG, regulatory, and company documentation
  • Ability to lift up to 34 kg (75 lbs)
  • Effective English verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability and willingness to work in diverse working environment with route and task changes
  • Communicate vehicle mechanical problems to mechanic and supervisor immediately. Operate truck and equipment using prescribed techniques to eliminate driver-induced mechanical failures.
  • Follow safety standards, equipment checks and precautions in performance of all duties. Comply with all national, provincial, local and rules on safety and vehicle operation.
  • Maintain a clean vehicle by cleaning cab interior and exterior of vehicle.
