CLASS 1 DRIVER / EQUIPMENT OPERATOR / HOT SHOT DRIVER

Bonnyville, AB | Full-Time / On-Call
We’re looking for a highly versatile and dependable individual to join our team in a hybrid role that blends the responsibilities of a Class 1 Driver, Equipment Operator, and Hot Shot Driver. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys variety in their workday, and is ready to jump into action when needed. Must be local to Bonnyville, AB.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Operate Class 1 vehicles for hauling equipment and materials to and from job sites.
  • Perform hot shot runs across Alberta and Saskatchewan (including urgent parts delivery, material transport, etc.).
  • Safely operate a range of construction and oilfield equipment (zoom boom, skid steer, telehandler, etc.).
  • Assist with loading/unloading and ensure secure transportation of materials.
  • Support field crews when not on the road – equipment moves, minor repairs, general yard or site help.
  • Keep accurate driver logs and maintenance records.
  • Ensure all operations are conducted safely and in compliance with company and industry standards.

✅ What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid Class 1 Driver’s License with a clean abstract.
  • Experience operating construction/oilfield equipment.
  • Prior hot shot or general hauling experience an asset.
  • Ability to work flexible hours with short notice (on-call availability is required).
  • Must reside in or near Bonnyville – this is not a camp role.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a safety-first mindset.
