We are now recruiting for Class 1 Drivers on Nights to join our team at Great Bear Lutterworth MP1 on a Full time and permanent position. Job Description Shift: Monday-Friday Nights - Please be advised there will be a 2 hour start window. Salary: £42,298 per annum plus £3,000 per annum Nightshift premium. Overtime: £22.19 per hour across all shifts after 55 hours worked. Maintain a high standard of behaviour and appearance Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure Make deliveries to customers’ premises, acting in a professional manner at all times Qualifications Minimum 6 months Class 1 experience is essential for this role. Full C+E Entitlement along with CPC & Tacho Card. No more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions. Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation. Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly. Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements. Excellent communication skills. Please be advised that you may come into contact with Alcohol.
