POSITION OVERVIEW:

Environmental 360 Solutions is looking for a Driver in our Prince George, BC location.
This position is responsible for transporting freight to/from manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and customer locations within a region. Driver will be travelling for three days a week out of Prince George. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong sense of safety and customer service.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
  • Valid Prince George, BC driver’s license Class 1, Clean drivers abstract
  • Ability to pass a drug test, and background check(s)
  • Ability to work overtime at the discretion of Environmental 360 Solutions
  • Professional driving experience an asset.
  • Experience in commercial driving 1 year required,
  • Waste industry experience is an asset.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Completing all required paperwork from customer orders.
  • Reviewing quality standards to ensure that products are delivered with high quality and on time.
  • Providing excellent customer service by listening to customers’ needs and providing solutions or suggestions that meet their needs and expectations.
  • Handling customer complaints in a professional manner.
  • Operates all equipment in a safe, defensive and courteous matter at all times.
  • Ensures cleanliness of the equipment.
  • Meets and complies with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. (i.e. pre-trip and post-trip inspections, wearing of PPE and reports incidents to the Branch Manager in a timely manner.)
  • Maintain Log Books according to rules and regulations.
  • Adheres to performance standards as set out by the company (i.e. safe driving record and environmental incident record).
  • Completing all required training for new drivers.
