JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking professional and dedicated HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a fast-growing logistics provider delivering reliable middle-mile services. REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid UK HGV Class C+E (Class 1) licence.
  • Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
  • Digital Tachograph / Smart Card.
  • No more than six penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, or IN endorsements).
  • At least 1 year of commercial driving experience.
  • Ability to work independently while meeting time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
  • Willingness to undergo Background and Drug & Alcohol screening.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience with tramping or trunking routes.
  • Familiarity with compliance apps or digital delivery systems.
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a commitment to safety and service excellence.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure full compliance with all legal, regulatory, and company driving standards.
  • Safely transport trailers to and from client locations, meeting delivery schedules.
  • Complete delivery and compliance documentation accurately using our mobile application.
  • Maintain cleanliness, order, and security of assigned vehicles and equipment.
  • Monitor and record tachograph data in line with current regulations.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, representing the company with professionalism.
  • Report incidents, breakdowns, or safety concerns promptly and in line with company policy.
  • Adhere to internal policies and health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Uphold high standards of conduct in line with company values and the Driver’s Handbook.
