Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional HGV Driver (Class 1) to join our growing logistics team. This role focuses on safe and efficient middle-mile transportation, ensuring goods are delivered on time while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer service. Drivers will benefit from modern, well-maintained vehicles and consistent, year-round work without the need for loading or unloading.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate Class 1 HGV vehicles for scheduled routes
  • Deliver freight to designated locations on time and in excellent condition
  • Provide courteous and professional customer service at all times
  • Collaborate with the transport team to ensure smooth operations
  • Follow all road safety regulations and company policies
  • Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any maintenance needs

Requirements

  • Valid C+E (Class 1) driving license with no more than six penalty points (no DD or DR endorsements)
  • Driver CPC card (valid and in good standing)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Proficiency in English for safety and communication purposes
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug & alcohol screening
  • Minimum of 12 months’ recent driving experience
