CLASS 1 (CAT C+E) DRIVER – MULTI-DROP DELIVERIES & COLLECTIONS

FGT is recruiting Class 1 Drivers for delivery and collection work. This is a multi-drop role with some general haulage. Occasional Class 2 driving may be required.
Shift: Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday mornings (rota basis).

REQUIREMENTS:

• Full UK Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence – new passes welcome
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Multi-drop experience preferred (training provided)

Pay: From £33,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Driving a Goods Vehicle: 1 year (preferred)

• Multi-drop deliveries and collections
• Record PODs using company smartphone
• Complete vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Follow drivers’ hours, tachograph rules and WTD regulations
• Keep vehicles clean and carry out light maintenance
• Communicate effectively with head office
• Work safely and handle customer goods with care
