We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 1 Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, particularly with Walkin Floor and Curtain sider vehicles, and possess a strong commitment to safety and customer service. This role involves transporting goods efficiently while adhering to all regulations and company policies. Responsibilities:

• Safely operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle to transport goods to and from different locations
• Follow all traffic and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Experience of using a Walkin Floor and Curtain Sider
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
• Communicate effectively with the dispatcher and other team members
• Handle goods carefully and ensure they are secured properly

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Class 1 license
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience driving heavy goods vehicles
• Good driving record with no major violations or accidents
• Ability to read and follow GPS and other navigational systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexibility to work weekends and nights if required
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy loads
