JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong understanding of freight handling, commercial driving, and the operation of heavy equipment.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)
  • Must be able to operate Automatic and Manual Transmission
  • Must have Container Dryage experience CP,CN
  • Dump Truck Tandem Pony Experience
  • Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety protocols
  • Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred
  • Knowledge of basic automotive repair is a plus
  • Forklift certification is desirable but not mandatory

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate and drive trucks to transport freight to designated locations
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance
  • Load and unload freight using forklifts and other equipment as necessary
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and routes
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations governing commercial driving
  • Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the truck as needed
