Responsibilities As an Arrow driver, you will haul wood fibre locally in B-train trailers, primarily transporting wood chips, as well as sawdust and hog fuel. Travel will occur on various Interior BC highways, including Hwy 1 (Coquihalla), Hwy 5, and Hwy 97. Major Responsibilities Oversee cargo handling, load securement, and equipment preparation in accordance with safe work practices and applicable Acts and regulations. Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment safety, roadworthiness, and regulatory compliance. Comply with all applicable legislation, including hours of service, occupational health and safety, transportation of dangerous goods, and weight and dimension requirements. Maintain accurate and complete documentation, including bills of lading and electronic logs for hours of service and vehicle service or repair status. Operate onboard and communication equipment, including truck cab computers, CB radios, and telephones, to communicate with bases, supervisors, and other drivers. Ensure professional and respectful interactions with customers, co-workers, and the public. We are committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment.
