Job Requirements: MATRIX is looking for an experienced casual Class 1 Truck Driver to join the team. This position is for remote camps across Canada. Responsibilities: Ensures health and safety by following company policies & processes and acting in a responsible manner at all times, while on the job. Performs all pre and post trip inspections to ensure effective operation of truck and equipment. Loading, unloading, and fasten materials safety and securely to flat deck commercial trailers. Performs roadside repairs as needed. Complete all required safety paperwork. General laborer duties as required. Minimum of 2 years commercial truck driving experience is required, including driving truck and flat deck combo loads and familiarity with manual transmissions. Must have a valid and current Class 1 license , and clean drivers abstract. Previous remote and off-highway driving experience, such as low-bedding is preferred Must be willing to travel for work Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule. Physical ability to lift and move a minimum of 50 lbs., Walk and stand for long periods of time and perform physical labor. Valid Safety Tickets (First Aid/CPR, TDG, Fall Protection) are all desired. Salary Range $500-$600/day depending on skills and experience, paid vacation. All expenses covered when out of town.
