QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required along with LCV license
  • Experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight transportation.
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is preferred.
  • Familiarity with automotive repair techniques is a plus.
  • Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as part of the hiring process.

Responsibilities
  • Operate commercial trucks (LCV) to transport freight to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery schedules.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery status.
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations related to commercial driving.
  • Assist with basic automotive repair tasks as needed to ensure vehicle readiness.
  • Operate heavy equipment and forklifts when required for loading and unloading.
