GR8 Connect GR8 Connect is recruiting Class 2 Drivers for one of our prestige clients, the UK’s largest provider of water and wastewater solutions, operating under the Southern Water contract. We are looking to onboard 25–30 drivers for long-term, ongoing work with paid inductions and immediate starts available once training is completed. The company supplies water services to 2.7 million customers and wastewater services to 4.7 million customers across the South of England daily. Due to major expansion plans across the UK, we are now hiring reliable and professional Class 2 drivers for ongoing long-term work in Southampton. Locations Sussex Crawley Southampton Key Responsibilities Delivering pipes and materials to construction and utility sites Assisting with loading and unloading vehicles Carrying out manual handling duties Ensuring compliance with site health & safety procedures This is a physically demanding role – applicants must be fit and comfortable with manual work. Shift Patterns 4 on / 4 off (overtime available) Guaranteed 8 hours paid per shift Shift lengths range from 8 to 15 hours • Days start 6am – £18 per hour Nights start 6pm – £19 per hour Long-term, ongoing work Induction & Training Induction (3–4 hours) Full role-specific training provided Immediate starts once inducted Requirements (Essential) Minimum 6 months Class 2 (Cat C) driving experience Valid UK Driving Licence Driver CPC Card Digital Tacho Card No more than 6 points on license for minor infringments Flexible with shifts (days/nights) We are seeking candidates who are flexible with their shifts, whether they be during the day or at night, to accommodate the varying needs of our operations.
