JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of commercial vehicles.

EXPERIENCE

• Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) is required.
• Previous experience is similar role is prefered but not necessary.
• Experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, or route driving is highly desirable.
• Previous experience with freight handling, including heavy haul operations or paratransit services, is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with clients, dispatchers, and team members.

• Operate and drive various types of commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, box trucks, flatbeds, and dump trucks.
• Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle inspections.
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding routes, schedules, and any issues that may arise during transport.
• Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all safety protocols while on the road.
• Assist in yard jockey duties as needed, including moving trailers within the yard.
