HGV Class 2 (Class C) Driver
Job Description
Gee’s Haulage is a family run transport company based in Wakefield that has been up and running for over 40 years and due to continuous growth, we are looking for a Class 2 (Class C) HGV driver to come to join our existing team due to new contracts commencing.
You would be expected to drive in most areas of the UK tramping (working away). Work would also involve some manual loading/unloading.

PREFERRED QUALITIES AND SKILLS OF OUR HGV CLASS C (CLASS 2) DRIVER:

• A positive ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to work well under pressure
• Ideally a good knowledge of the UK road network
• Be polite & courteous
• A team player approach
• Good levels of physical fitness
• Flexibility on working hours.
• Experience preferred but not essential
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Good spoken English
• Operate Class 2 HGV vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
• Load and unload cargo, securing it properly for transportation.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
  Full training would be given to the successful applicant by one of our experienced driver trainers in all aspects of the job.
