JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 2 driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations. Hold valid CPC and digi Tacho cards.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of loads to prevent damage during transit.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the lorry, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.Experience
• Proven experience in commercial driving,
• Previous experience as a delivery driver is an advantage, demonstrating familiarity with route planning and time management.
• A valid HGV licence is required, along with a clean driving record, CPC and digi Tacho.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records and ensuring safe transport of goods.
• Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with team members and clients.
