JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is looking for reliable and professional Class 3 Drivers/ Helper to handle a mix of local deliveries and long-haul runs from Halifax to Ontario to join their moving company. This position primarily involves assisting with loading, unloading, and delivering furniture and household goods. The successful candidate must also be capable of operating a Class 3 truck occasionally, as needed.
Location: Halifax, NS – Runs to Ontario
Number of Positions: 2
Pay Structure: $24/ hour

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Class 3 driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Prior experience in moving, delivery, or general labor preferred
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 75 lbs) repeatedly
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends as needed
• Punctual, dependable, and a team player

• Assist drivers in loading and unloading furniture and goods safely and efficiently
• Navigate customer locations and ensure timely delivery of items
• Handle items with care to avoid damage
• Maintain a clean and organized truck during and after deliveries
• Communicate professionally with customers on-site
• Operate a Class 3 truck occasionally to support delivery operations
• Follow all health and safety procedures and transportation regulations
• Report any vehicle issues or delivery problems promptly
