REPORTS TO: GENERAL MANAGER OF OPERATIONS

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Roll-Off Truck Driver to transport mattresses and other recyclable materials between our recycling facility, disposal sites, and material vendors. This position requires operating single and dual rear axle trucks equipped with roll-off bin systems. The successful candidate must hold a valid Class 3 driver’s license with Air Brake Endorsement and have a minimum of 3 years clean driving history.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid class 3 drivers license with air brakes and a clean drivers abstract
• Must be capable of heavy lifting
• Ability to work longer hours or weekends if needed
• Must be punctual and reliable
• Must provide own transportation to main office
• Experience driving a similar utility truck is an asset

• Safely operate single and dual rear axle roll-off trucks for transporting materials.
• Pick up and deliver roll-off bins containing mattresses, recyclable materials, and waste.
• Ensure loads are properly secured and meet all transportation regulations.
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Coordinate with facility staff for efficient routing and scheduling.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and disposal activities.
• Follow all municipal, provincial, and federal transportation regulations.
• Assist with loading/unloading bins when necessary.
• Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
• Oversee the use of a company work truck.
• Certify the loading and unloading of goods as well as ensuring the securing of all loads.
• Complete tasks with efficiency and high quality standards.
