Class 5 Driver Operator – Waste | Auckland Looking for Your Next Driving Role? InterGroup is looking for an experienced Class 5 Driver Operator to join our Auckland Waste team. This is a full-time, hands-on role operating heavy vehicles across a range of waste collection and transport activities. About the Role As a Class 5 Driver Operator, you'll operate heavy vehicles across Auckland, transporting waste safely and efficiently between customer sites and disposal facilities. While driving is the primary focus, this isn't just a seat-only role. You'll also be involved in loading and unloading, completing vehicle checks, working with customers, and supporting day-to-day operational activities. Every day is different, with a variety of sites, customers, and jobs across the region. Key Responsibilities Safely operate Class 5 vehicles across a range of waste transport activities Complete daily vehicle and equipment inspections Load, transport, and unload waste safely and efficiently Complete required transport and job documentation Work closely with customers and operational teams Maintain high standards of health and safety Represent InterGroup professionally on customer sites About You You'll have: A full Class 5 driver's licence Experience operating Class 5 heavy vehicles A strong commitment to working safely Good communication and customer service skills A reliable, positive attitude and strong work ethic Good physical fitness and willingness to assist with operational tasks when required Dangerous Goods endorsement Experience within the waste, transport, civil, or industrial sectors Why Join InterGroup? Responsibilities

Safely operate Class 5 heavy vehicles to transport waste between customer sites and disposal facilities across Auckland. Perform daily vehicle inspections, manage transport documentation, and assist with loading and unloading activities.
