Description Local and OTR position operating truck and tanker trailer in a safe manner to load and deliver hazmat chemicals products to customers. Our drivers make $75,000 to $100,000 on average. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Loads and unloads tanker with product adhering to all company and loading terminal, governmental regulations, and industry standards. Transports loads over required route to proper destination while observing all traffic laws and safety regulations. Keep Samsara ELD daily logs properly updated and certified. Completes and transmits all paperwork in compliance with established company procedures. Maintains vehicle cleanliness and other related articles as necessary. Performs all safety inspections on trucks, equipment and or facilities as required by company policy. Report and communicate all accidents, incidents, or spills immediately. Report any equipment malfunctions and or concerns to driver manager. General Responsibilities: Safely drive and deliver product for Pencco, Inc. Perform specific tasks as assigned by plant manager or dispatch. Promote and support company image standards. Adhere to all city, county, state, and federal regulations. Follow the work schedule as posted unless a change in schedule is arranged by Plant manager or dispatch. Requirements Qualification Requirements: Experience: 2 years CDL-Class A experience, HazMat Tanker Endorsement with minimum of 6 months Tanker experience. A successful candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. DOT road test with a manual transmission. Maintain annual MEC. JOB SPECIFIC PHYSICAL TESTS: Lifts/carries 50 pounds occasionally, pushing/pulling a maximum force of 75 pounds; Safe Lifting criteria, floor to knuckle 50 pounds, shoulder to overhead 50 pounds; PDC Level, heavy. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member occasionally works in high, precarious places, in outside weather conditions, is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and cold outside temperatures. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Safety guidelines according to company handbook must be followed in the work environment at all times.
