Position Summary: Collaborate with our team to offer delivery services to our clients, as well as pick-up services from vendors and other clients. This position is based in the Paso Robles/SLO area (Local Routes-Remote Driver). Pay Range: Average annual pay range $55,000 - $80,000 (pay rate is determined by individual skills, years of experience, endorsements, and other relevant factors) Shift: 1st shift, subject to change based on company requirements. 5-6 days on, 1-2 days off Benefits: Competitive pay Retirement Plan: 401K Medical, vision and dental benefits Paid Time Off Paid Sick Leave Holiday Pay Local position - means you get to go home every night! 5 days on, 2 days' off Overtime Pay Employee Discount Cell Phone Reimbursement Consistent hours Job Description Connect with customer as the face of our company Deliver food items to commercial and non-commercial operators in a timely and efficient manner Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order Maintain logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew and checking that vehicle and loading equipment are properly positioned. Operate vehicle safely in a variety of traffic and weather conditions Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles. Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes. Drive trucks to weigh stations along routes in compliance with state regulations as needed. Handle customer complaints professionally and effectively Qualifications Physical Requirements/Environment: Be able to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Requires prolonged sitting or standing. Must work in hot and cold environments. Requires stooping, kneeling, bending and reaching. Must comply with department dress code. Must work in noisy and crowded environments. Must work in and around fumes and odors. Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials. Qualifications: Class A Driver’s License Must pass a Drug Test and Physical Ability to lift heavy boxes Ability to work in all types of weather. Availability to work long hours when needed. Acceptable driving record (Must be approved by insurance)
