As a LTL/FTL Class A Driver for UNIS Transportation you will transport non-hazardous freight with consistent volumes picking up and delivering to our rapidly expanding nationwide network of terminals. This is Monday through Friday, 1st shift start 6am to 2:30pm. (Must be flexible operating Automatic & Manual). You will be using a box truck some days and some days 53' tractor on others. Valid Class A CDL and acceptable DOT/Safety driving record. Meet or exceed the medical standards of the US Department of Transportation and possess a valid DOT Medical card. No DUI’s or major driving violations. Satisfactorily pass a drug and alcohol test. Willing to submit a background check and provide employment recommendations. Must have knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, vehicle inspection and maintenance

Responsibilities

The driver will transport non-hazardous freight using LTL and FTL divisions, picking up and delivering to a nationwide network of terminals using both box trucks and 53' tractors. This role operates on a Monday through Friday schedule, starting between 6 am and 2:30 pm, requiring flexibility with both automatic and manual transmissions.
