Description Summary: The Class A Truck Driver – Precast Concrete position performs a variety of routine and complex transportation work in driving and coordinating transportation plans in support of Lakelands Concrete Products, Inc. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Safely operate Class A trucks and trailers in all conditions, including highway travel and off-road job sites. · Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with company policy and Department of Transportation regulations. · Maintain accurate driver logbooks in compliance with Hours-of-Service requirements. · Load, secure, and transport precast concrete products in accordance with load securement regulations. · Independently secure loads on flatbed trailers without supervision. · Properly load products onto trailers using a boom crane. · Follow dispatch instructions, delivery schedules, and routing requirements. · Perform all duties in compliance with applicable safety, security, and operational standards. · Inspect product for damage or quality issues. · Follow jobsite safety protocols. · Willingness to obtain NCCER crane certification. · Conduct all work in alignment with Lakelands Concrete Products’ Corporate Values. · Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
